What is an accessibility widget?
An accessibility widget is a small toolbar added to a website with one script. Visitors open it to change how the page looks and behaves for them: larger text, higher contrast, more spacing, paused animations, or a reading guide. ComplyWCAG keeps those choices in the visitor's own browser.
Does the widget make my website ADA or WCAG compliant?
No. A widget cannot certify or guarantee legal compliance or WCAG conformance. It adjusts presentation for the visitor. It does not fix missing alt text, unlabeled forms, keyboard traps, or other barriers in your code. Your team still needs accessible design and code, testing with assistive technology, and ongoing remediation.
How do I install ComplyWCAG?
Create an account, add your website in the dashboard, and paste the script snippet it gives you into your site's custom-code setting or before the closing body tag. There are step-by-step guides for WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace, Wix, custom code, and Google Tag Manager.
Which website platforms does it work with?

Will the widget slow my site down?

Does ComplyWCAG track or profile visitors?
No. Preferences are stored in the visitor's browser. ComplyWCAG does not infer disability, build visitor profiles, or follow people across websites.
